Welcome to Scoil Mhuire, Kilvemnon.   As principal of Scoil Mhuire I am delighted to welcome you to our school website. Our school is a beautiful rural school set amidst the idyllic ‘Slievenamon’.  We are blessed with our surroundings here in Scoil Mhuire that enables us to provide an ideal and unique learning environment for our students. We are delighted to showcase our school events and happenings on our new website and to provide a means of communication to our parents or to those seeking more information about our school.

Our school motto ‘Mol and Óige agus Tiocfaidh sí’ (Praise the youth and they will flourish) is evident in the day to day running of our school. A positive school atmosphere and a strong close knit school community are ever present in Scoil Mhuire.  Every student is a much valued member of our happy vibrant learning community. We are a Catholic school which strives to provide a caring, happy and secure atmosphere for all our students.

Our school is supported by an amazing team of professional and enthusiastic teachers and support staff.  In partnership with parents and our Board of Management we work to develop well-educated, confident young students. We are committed to the holistic development of the children in our care and to making a positive difference in their lives enabling them to live in a global society. We hold high expectations to ensure that each and every pupil will be a successful learner.
