We are delighted with our school yard markings and games that were completed recently. Our basketball and volleyball courts received an upgrade and our junior yard is awash with bright colours and games that the children are really enjoying during breaktimes. A huge thank you again to everyone who contributed to our Tractor Run Fundraiser this year that enabled us to make these improvements to our school.
As part of Creative Schools, the children participated in the Big Bang Drumming workshop with Ricky. They learned the basics of how to play a drum, practised lots of different rhythms and best of all got to make lots of noise!
We were delighted to be part of the Peace Proms Concert in the SETU Arena in Waterford on the 1st of February. The children in the senior spent months rehearsing the lyrics and actions to numerous songs and medleys. They put on a fantastic performance on the day!
