World Book Day was a great success. All our pupils came to school dressed as their favourite characters. We spent time reading books and listened to a digital story. The pupils then shared their favourite reading memories.
As part of Creative Schools, the children participated in the Big Bang Drumming workshop with Ricky. They learned the basics of how to play a drum, practised lots of different rhythms and best of all got to make lots of noise!
We were delighted to be part of the Peace Proms Concert in the SETU Arena in Waterford on the 1st of February. The children in the senior spent months rehearsing the lyrics and actions to numerous songs and medleys. They put on a fantastic performance on the day!
